Celtics' Jonas Jerebko: Posts modest numbers in spot start

Jerebko posted six points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one steal and one block during 21 minutes in Sunday's 107-106 loss in Houston.

Analysis:

Jerebko received his first start of the season Monday night, as Coach Brad Stevens opted for Jerebko instead of Amir Johnson to combat Houston's three-point oriented offense. The start resulted in only a slight uptick in minutes for the Swedish Bird. Expect Jerebko to return to his reserve role Wednesday at Orlando.
