Rockets' Eric Gordon: Rolls ankle against Boston

Gordon rolled an ankle in Monday's game against the Celtics, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports. He finished with 19 points (6-11 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two assists, one rebound and one block across 31 minutes.

Analysis:

Gordon's playing time didn't seem to be impacted by the injury, but if he experiences residual swelling on his ankle, he could be at risk of missing Wednesday's contest against the Lakers. The veteran shooting guard has been fantastic since settling into a sixth-man role, averaging 16.9 points (on 43.8% shooting from the field), 3.3 three-pointers, 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per contest.
