Cavaliers' J.R. Smith: Leaves game Monday with knee injury

Smith sufered a left knee injury during Monday's game against the Raptors and won't return, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Smith landed awkwardly on his left leg after making a runner during the second quarter and eventually made his way to the locker room with a significant limp. He's set to undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury, so the Cavs figure to provide an update either after the game or at Tuesday's practice. Smith had two points over 10 minutes before departing, making it eight games in a row that he failed to crack double digits in the scoring column.
