Trail Blazers' Ed Davis: Will start again Monday

Although Al-Farouq Aminu is returning from a 13 game absence, Davis will remain the starting forward for Monday's game against the Bulls, Joe Freeman of the Oregonian reports.

Analysis:

Davis has started the last seven games while Aminue has been sidelined. He posted 5.9 points, 6.9 boards, 1.3 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.9 blocks across 24.9 minutes during that time. While remains in the starting lineup Wednesday, because the Trail Blazers want to ease Aminu back into the swing of things. However, Davis will likely see his minutes reduce closer to the 14.2 per game he averaged prior to being inserted in the starting lineup sooner than later.
