Grizzlies' Vince Carter: Ruled out for upcoming back-to-back set

Carter (hip) will miss both Monday's game against the Pelicans and Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.

Analysis:

Carter had already been ruled out Monday, and since the Grizzlies won't have an opportunity to gauge his health Tuesday with no morning shootaround, he'll add another absence to his ledger. The Grizzlies are still evaluating Carter on a day-to-day basis, but he may need to log a full practice before the Grizzlies clear him to play. With Carter joined on the sideline for at least the next two games by James Ennis (calf) and Chandler Parsons (knee), the likes of Tony Allen, Troy Williams and Troy Daniels will cover most of the playing time on the wing.
