Grizzlies' James Ennis: To be reevaluated in 7-to-10 days

Ennis (calf) has resumed non-contact, on-court basketball activities, but will be held out for another 7-to-10 days before being reevaluated.

Analysis:

Ennis has already missed the last two weeks because of a Grade 2 calf strain, but after being reevaluated Monday, it appears he's going to need some additional time off for recovery. Ennis will sit out all of the Grizzlies' games this week, which means he'll miss the next four games, with his next opportunity to take the court for a Dec. 13 matchup against the Cavaliers. His ability to take the court for non-contact work is a step in the right direction, but he'll again be reevaluated in a little over a week before having another update on his status. With Vince Carter (hip) and Chandler Parsons (knee) still out as well, look for Troy Williams to remain in the starting lineup at small forward.
