Grizzlies' Vince Carter: Out fourth straight game

Carter (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pelicans.

Analysis:

Carter's absence over the past three games has allowed Troy Daniels to emerge as a key player off the bench for the Grizzlies, with the sharpshooter averaging 23.0 points and 4.3 three-pointers during that span. The Grizzlies are still evaluating Carter on a day-to-day basis while he battles the right hip strain, but with no indication that he's resumed practicing yet, it seems likely he'll remain out for the second half of the back-to-back set Tuesday against the 76ers.
