Magic's Serge Ibaka: Dominant in Sunday's win

Ibaka posted 21 points (9-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals across 34 minutes during the Magic's 98-92 win against the Pistons on Sunday.

Analysis:

Ibaka tallied season highs of four assists and three steals while matching his season high with three blocks. After seeing less than 30 minutes in four of the first eight games of 2016-17, Ibaka has earned at least that much time in 11 of the last 13. The two exceptions were this past Friday's blowout win over the 76ers and an 88-69 loss to the Pacers back on Nov. 14, so it's clear that Ibaka has established himself as an integral part of Magic coach Frank Vogel's rotation. Given that the team lacks adequate three-point shooting, it's reasonable to expect the well-rounded veteran to continue receiving heavy minutes on most nights.
