Rockets' Nene Hilario: Expected to play Monday vs. Celtics

Hilario, who sat out Friday's win over the Nuggets due to a sore right knee, is expected to play Monday against the Celtics, ESPN.com's Calvin Watkins reports.

Analysis:

After sitting out Thursday's double-overtime win over the Warriors for rest, it was a bit surprising that Hilario was sidelined for the second half of the back-to-back set Friday, but now we have a better explanation. The big man was apparently nursing the minor knee injury, though coach Mike D'Antoni suggested he was still held out Friday mainly for maintenance reasons. Assuming Hilario endures no further setbacks heading into Monday, look for him to slot back in as the main backup to starting center Clint Capela, with Montrezl Harrell plummeting to third on the depth chart.
