Warriors PR staff still sensitive about losing Finals

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors rolled again Saturday night, hammering the Phoenix Suns 138-109. The win puts the Dubs at 17-3 on the season, and again prevented them from losing two straight games (they had fallen to the Houston Rockets in double-overtime on Thursday).

Afterward, Draymond Green was asked if he remembered when the Warriors had actually lost two in a row. A helpful PR staffer immediately chimed in to stress "regular season."

The employee was clearly leaning to forget - and trying to ensure Green wouldn't think about - Golden State's three straight losses to end June's NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That's a winning, forward-thinking organization.

For the record, the last time the Warriors dropped back-to-back regular-season games was April 5-7, 2015.
