Lakers' Julius Randle: Offers pedestrian stat line Saturday
Randle compiled six points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-3 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 29 minutes in Saturday's 103-100 loss to the Grizzlies.
Analysis:
Randle turned in double-doubles in his first two contests back from a three-game absence due to a hip injury, but he's struggled to make much of an impact in his last two tilts. He was limited a bit by foul trouble Saturday, while his five turnovers in 22 minutes were mostly his undoing in the first half of the back-to-back set Friday against the Raptors. The 22-year-old isn't the most consistent fantasy option out there, but assuming health prevails, his production should trend back upward before long.
