Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Out again Saturday

Jokic (wrist) will sit out the Nuggets' matchup against the Jazz on Saturday, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Jokic injured his wrist in Wednesday's loss to the Heat, which happened to be his most productive performance this season. Both Juan Hernangomez and Darrell Arthur would presumably be in line for his minutes providing depth in the team's frontcourt. However, In Jokic's absence Friday, the team opted to go small by giving Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler heavy minutes instead of increasing the aforementioned Hernangomez and Arthur's off the bench. Thus, it is unclear what direction the team will go against the Jazz on Saturday. Jokic's next opportunity to return will be Monday against the 76ers, where he will hope to be build on his strong performance prior to sustaining the injury.
