76ers' Nerlens Noel: Assigned to D-League

Noel (knee) was assigned to the Delaware 87ers of the NBA D-League on Friday, Derek Bodner of Philadelphia Magazine reports.

Analysis:

Noel recently re-joined the 76ers to workout with the team, but will now head back to the D-League for further rehab. There remains no exact timetable for Noel's return to the court, but he is continuing to put in work in practice and progress is definitely being made.
