Magic's D.J. Augustin: Offering limited production in three-game starting stint

Augustin was limited to seven points (2-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 19 minutes in Thursday's 95-94 loss to the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

Augustin has started at point guard in the last three contests, but with averages of 8.3 points, 4.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers and 1.0 steal in 23.0 minutes per game in that span, he hasn't really given fantasy owners reason to run to the waiver wire to add him. Morever, he's been outpaced in playing time by Elfrid Payton in those contests, so it appears Augustin is being treated as the starter in name only.
