Warriors' Draymond Green: Near triple-double in double-OT thriller

Green scored 20 points (9-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-5 FT) along with 15 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one blocked shot over 47 minutes in Thursday's 132-127 double-overtime loss to the Rockets.

Analysis:

All the good we've come to expect from Green was on full display in Thursday's nationally televised game, but so was the bad. In the second overtime, Green was whistled for a flagrant foul when his foot connected with James Harden's face. Harden made both free throws and then Houston scored on its ensuing possession to give the Rockets a six-point lead last in the second OT. Green's dalliance with the high kick, particularly in an opponent's most sensitive area, was a prominent storyline in last season's postseason and earned him a one-game suspension during the Finals. He's developed a reputation throughout the league, one not lost on the officials. Green leads Golden State with 2.9 personal fouls per game.
