For the second time in his illustrious career, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers was officially named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year on Thursday, joining golfer Tiger Woods as the only athletes to earn that distinction on multiple occasions.

During a first-quarter break against the Los Angeles Clippers at Quicken Loans Arena, a video played on the giant screen above the floor acknowledging James' award win, which earned him a standing ovation from the Cavaliers faithful.

James was the architect behind Cleveland overcoming a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, earning the city its first major sports title since 1964.
