Magic's Jodie Meeks: Will sit out Thursday

Meeks (foot) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup with the Grizzlies, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Coach Frank Vogel recently indicated that he hoped to have Meeks make his season debut at some point during the team's five-game road trip, but the veteran shooting guard will have now missed the first two of those games. There's been no indication he's suffered a setback while upping his involvement in practices, so there's a decent chance that he'll be available for the Magic's following game Friday against the 76ers. The road trip will conclude with games against the Pistons on Dec. 4 and the Wizards on Dec. 6.
