Lakers' Nick Young: Out two-to-four weeks with calf strain

Young's recent MRI revealed a strained right calf muscle and he's expected to miss anywhere from two-to-four weeks, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.

Analysis:

As expected, Young was ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls earlier in the day, after suffering an injury during Tuesday's loss to the Pelicans. However, after undergoing an MRI, Young could now be sidelined up to four weeks, so look for him to go through a heavy dose of rest and rehabilitation moving forward. His absence opens up the starting shooting guard role, which Jordan Clarkson is the current favorite to move into. Along with Clarkson, both Lou Williams and Brandon Ingram should also see a decent bump in minutes, especially with D'Angelo Russell out for at least another week as well.
