Lakers' Julius Randle: Gets double-double in return to court

Randle (hip) recorded 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 105-88 loss to the Pelicans.

Analysis:

With the Lakers playing the front end of a back-to-back set and trailing big after the third quarter, Randle saw more limited playing time than normal in his return from a three-game absence, but looked strong during his time on the court. He'll likely see his playing time creep up Wednesday against the Bulls and could see his usage rate rise over the next several games while D'Angelo Russell (knee) -- and potentially, Nick Young (Achilles) who exited early Tuesday -- are out.
