Pelicans' Tim Frazier: Production lags for second straight game

Frazier provided six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five assists and one rebound across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 105-88 win over the Lakers.

Analysis:

Jrue Holiday entered the starting lineup for the first time all season, but he ended up replacing E'Twaun Moore at shooting guard, allowing Frazier to retain duties at point guard. Frazier surpassed 30 minutes for the seventh straight game and hasn't sacrificed any playing time since Holiday returned from personal leave, but his performance has dipped over the last two games. Frazier has averaged just 7.0 points, 4.0 assists, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game during those contests, and could see his role as both a facilitator and scorer take a hit if Holiday ends up assuming most of the ball-handling responsibilities when the two share the floor together.
