Oscar Robertson finally has some competition in the form of Russell Westbrook.

Having submitted a 27-point, 18-rebound, 14-assist outing in Monday's win over the New York Knicks, Westbrook is now averaging a triple-double through the first month of the season.

Head coach Billy Donovan doesn't see that changing anytime soon.

"Yeah, he could do it. He could do it," Donovan said of Westbrook prior to Monday's win, according to Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript. "I’m not gonna say he is or isn’t because I think the more important thing is Russell is winning.

"He’s a guy that has great impact on generating assists. He has a great impact on rebounding the basketball, and he can score. So, there’s certainly a possibility that can happen. Obviously what he’s done this point in time has been pretty remarkable."

The inexhaustible Westbrook would need to maintain his pace for another four months in order to join Robertson as the only players in NBA history to average triple-doubles.

As of right now, Westbrook is showing no signs of letting up.
