Stop me if you've heard this one before - DeMarcus Cousins' monster performance wasn't enough to lift the Sacramento Kings to victory.

Once again, Cousins' terrific individual effort was all for nothing, as the Kings dropped their 11th game of the season to the Washington Wizards on Monday evening.

The sixth-year veteran finished the contest with 36 points, 20 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in the defeat.

After dominating for much of the fourth, the All-NBA big man fell apart in overtime, missing all three of his field-goal attempts, while clanking both his free throws.

Since the 2010-11 season, there have been five instances where a player has accumulated 35 points and 20 rebounds in a loss. Cousins now has four of those performances.

While team owner Vivek Ranadive has publicly stated that he won't look to trade his superstar center, he may be more tempted to deal Cousins should the Kings continue to stumble.
