Trail Blazers' Mason Plumlee: Flirts with triple-double in second straight contest

Plumlee tallied 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block across 33 minutes in Sunday's 130-114 loss to the Rockets.

Analysis:

Plumlee's lack of progress from the free-throw line over his four seasons has been disappointing, and though he now sits at a 50 percent mark on the campaign, fantasy owners can live with his struggles in that area if he continues to fill it up in the assist column. The center already has five seven-assist games on his ledger this season; incredibly, that's the same amount as point guard Damian Lillard. Plumlee's sublime passing skills should continue to give him one of the more well-rounded statistical portfolios among the league's starting centers.
