Lakers' Julius Randle: Ruled out of Sunday's game

Randle (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Randle was limited in practice Saturday and missed the past two games, so the Lakers will act cautiously with the young big man and keep him sidelined again. The Lakers appointed Brandon Ingram to the starting lineup the past two games when Randle sat out, so he's the leading candidate to take his place Sunday. He remains day-to-day and should be viewed as questionable for the Lakers' next contest Tuesday versus the Pelicans.
