Warriors' Kevin Durant: Sets new career high with six blocks Saturday

Durant finished with 28 points (10-17 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 10 rebounds, a career-high six blocks and five assists across 38 minutes in Saturday's 115-102 win over the Timberwolves.

Analysis:

It was the first time in Warriors history a player had posted at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a single contest, as Durant did an admirable job picking up the slack on the defensive end with Draymond Green (ankle) sitting out. It's not expected that Green will remain out for Monday's game against the Hawks, and while that will likely result in Durant seeing more time at small forward, fantasy owners shouldn't expect the blocks to disappear completely. Even before Saturday's outstanding showing, Durant was averaging 1.3 rejections per game, which matched the career-best mark he established with the Thunder in 2012-13.
