Hornets' Marco Belinelli: Sits out 4th quarter Saturday

Belinelli was unavailable to play in the fourth quarter in Saturday's 107-102 win over the Knicks due to a hamstring injury, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Analysis:

Belinelli, who averaged 26.2 minutes per game heading into Saturday, saw only 20 minutes Saturday, perhaps due in some part to the injury and in some part to fellow shooting guard Jeremy Lamb's rousing success (18 points, 17 rebounds in 36 minutes). The Hornets are considering Belinelli day-to-day in advance of Monday's matchup with the Grizzlies, but if he's at all limited in the contest, coach Steve Clifford may be inclined to lean more heavily on Lamb as his first wing off the bench.
