Warriors set team record with 47 assists in thumping of Lakers

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors not only continue to make the extra pass, they're absolutely killing the extra pass.

The Dubs set a new franchise record with 47 assists in Wednesday's 149-106 beatdown of the Los Angeles Lakers - the most in an NBA game since the Phoenix Suns dropped 47 dimes on Nov. 29, 1991.

The Warriors' 47 helpers were on 53 field goals, an 88.7 percent assist rate.

Draymond Green led the way with 11 dimes, Stephen Curry had nine, while Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala had five apiece. David West and Patrick McCaw even added four each.
