Lakers' Randle out against Warriors

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

More bad news for the Los Angeles Lakers.

On the day they found out D'Angelo Russell will miss at least two weeks with a knee injury, Julius Randle was ruled out against the Golden State Warriors due to a hip pointer.

While there's no indication that Randle's injury is serious, the absences severely short-hand the team against the juggernaut Warriors. While Russell leads the Lakers in assists and is second in scoring, Randle is the squad's top rebounder.

Randle was slowed by the issue in Tuesday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing only 21 minutes.
