Lakers' Julius Randle: Doubtful for Wednesday

Randle (hip) has been downgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Mark Medina of L.A. Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Randle was able to play through a hip pointer during Tuesday's outing versus the Thunder, but was clearly hindered by the lingering discomfort and eventually had one of his worst showings of the season. Considering it's the second game of a back-to-back set, the Lakers want to be especially cautious with Randle, so he'll likely sit out Wednesday for additional recovery. With Randle doubtful for the contest, Larry Nance is currently the favorite to jump into the starting lineup in his place, giving him the opportunity to see an increased role Wednesday.
