Trail Blazers' Ed Davis: Double-double in Tuesday's start

Davis scored 14 points (7-9 FG) while adding 10 rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 107-103 loss to the Knicks.

Analysis:

Making his third straight start at power forward, Davis easily set a new season high in minutes en route to his first double-double of 2016-17. With Noah Vonleh struggling to make an impact and Meyers Leonard better suited to coming off the bench, Davis could be solidifying his spot in the starting five while Al-Farouq Aminu (calf) is sidelined. Davis might be worth a look in deeper leagues, but don't expect him to replicate Tuesday's scoring production very often, as he was held to single-digit points in each of the Blazers' first 15 contests.
