Lakers' D'Angelo Russell: Will not play Tuesday

Russell (knee) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Russell's sore left knee prevented him from practicing Monday and kept him out of Tuesday's morning shootaround, so the Lakers decided it was best to keep him on the sideline for the second time in three games. Jose Calderon started at point guard when Russell sat out Friday's loss to the Spurs, but he mostly acted as a placeholder, with Jordan Clarkson seeing most of the time at the position off the bench. Expect a similar arrangement to be in place for Tuesday.
