Mavericks' Deron Williams: Practices Tuesday

Williams (calf) went through full-court drills at Tuesday's practice, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

As expected, both Williams and Devin Harris (toe) participated in practice Tuesday, as did veteran Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles). All three players could "possibly" return to action within the next week, per coach Rick Carlisle, though Carlisle noted that Nowitzki is the closest of the three to playing. Continue to consider Williams day-to-day for now, with the expectation that Seth Curry will remain the interim starter at point guard.
