Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Ruled out Monday for rest

Aldridge will sit out Monday's game against the Mavericks for rest, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Both Aldridge and Tony Parker are slated to get the night off Monday, after participating in a back-to-back set over the weekend. That said, Aldridge should be back in the starting lineup as soon as Wednesday's matchup with the Hornets. David Lee is the current favorite to jump into the starting lineup at power forward, so look for him to see a bunch of minutes Monday in Aldridge's absence
