Wizards' Markieff Morris: Will play Monday against Suns

Morris (ankle) said that he'd play in Monday's game against the Suns, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Morris suffered the ankle injury in Saturday's game against the Heat and didn't practice Sunday, but it doesn't look as though he'll face any limitations against the Suns after fully participating in the team's shootaround Monday morning. The forward is off to a strong start to his first full season with the Wizards, averaging 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 three-pointer in 31.1 minutes per game.
