Mavericks' Deron Williams: Sidelined again Monday vs. Spurs
Williams (calf) won't play in Monday's game against the Spurs, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
Analysis:
The Mavericks are evaluating Williams on a day-to-day basis, but considering he suffered a setback with his calf last Wednesday just 10 minutes into his comeback from a four-game absence last week, it wouldn't be surprising if he were sidelined for several more games. With Williams, Devin Harris (toe) and J.J. Barea (Achilles) all out for at least Monday, Seth Curry will continue to serve as the starting point guard, while Jonathan Gibson picks up extended minutes off the bench.
