Trail Blazers' Meyers Leonard: Posts double-double off bench Sunday

Leonard posted 14 points (4-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes in Sunday's 129-109 win over the Nets.

Analysis:

While Ed Davis started at power forward for the second straight game, Leonard, who floundered in his previous cameos with the top unit in place of Al-Farouq Aminu (calf), ended up dominating the playing time at the position Sunday. Leonard's ability to space the floor and grab boards has long made him an intriguing talent, but he's yet to consistently put everything together during his four-plus NBA seasons. The double-double outing should put him on the watch list for those in deeper leagues, but he'll need to replicate this kind of production a few times before warranting an investment.
