Grizzlies' Marc Gasol: Goes 2-of-12 from field in win
Gasol was limited to six points (2-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 35 minutes in Saturday's 93-71 win over the Timberwolves.
Analysis:
Though Gasol didn't spend much time on the perimeter Saturday, he wasn't able to convert on many of his opportunities, with the 2-of-12 outing sinking his field-goal percentage to just 41.1 percent on the season. Kevin Love has shown the last few seasons that a big man doesn't need a lofty field-goal percentage to turn out early-round fantasy value, but he also rebounds and knocks down three-pointers at a higher clip that Gasol. The Grizzlies center still need to be owned in every format, but his fantasy owners shouldn't be shy with fielding trade offers either.
