Pacers' Paul George: Questionable for Sunday

George (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Thunder.

Analysis:

George was sidelined for Friday's loss to the Suns, marking his second absence of the season. Both absences have been due to a lingering sore ankle, which prompted the Pacers to send him in for an MRI on Saturday. The results of George's scans aren't yet known, but even if the MRI reveals that the star swingman isn't dealing with any structural issues to his ankle, he could still be at risk of missing further contests for rest and recovery. C.J. Miles started at small forward in place of George on Friday, but he picked up a sore knee in that game and has been ruled out Sunday. If George ends up joining Miles on the bench, Glenn Robinson could be in line for a start at small forward, while Rodney Stuckey and Georges Niang would likely see elevated playing time on the wing.
