Celtics' Al Horford: Remains out Friday

Horford (concussion) will not play Friday against the Warriors.

Analysis:

Horford was considered a game-time decision for Friday's contest, and it was decided that he would remain sidelined at least one more night. While Horford will miss his ninth game in a row Friday, head coach Brad Stevens said Horford "had by far his best day (Thursday)," so there is an outside shot he could return to action Saturday for the second end of the Celtics' back-to-back set.
