Cavaliers' J.R. Smith: Will start Friday against Detroit

Smith (ankle) will play and start at shooting guard in Friday's game against Detroit, Sam Amico of AmicoHoops.net reports.

Analysis:

Smith went through morning shootaround and should be ready to give Friday a full go. With Smith and LeBron James (rest) both returning to the starting lineup, both Iman Shumpert and Richard Jefferson will return to their roles off the bench and they'll likely see a minutes decrease.
