Howard returns for Hawks after missing game with quad injury

The Atlanta Hawks will have Dwight Howard back in the lineup when they take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitutional reports.

Howard was sidelined Wednesday after picking up a "super painful" quad injury earlier in the week. Despite missing time, the Hawks were able to pick up back-to-back victories against Milwaukee and Miami.

Through 10 games, Howard is averaging 14.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.7 blocks. His return should knock Mike Muscala back to the bench.
