Wizards' Bradley Beal: Scores 18 in return from hamstring injury

Beal (hamstring) scored 18 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT) while adding five assists and two rebounds in 29 minutes during Thursday's 119-112 win over the Knicks.

Analysis:

Beal returned to the starting lineup after missing three games with a sore hamstring. Before getting hurt, Beal was shooting just 36.6 percent from the floor, but his solid showing Thursday in his first game back from injury seemingly bodes well for his future production. The fifth-year player carries more health risk than most shooting guards, but if he can string together several games without any setbacks, his numbers could make a noticeable jump.
