Bulls' Rajon Rondo: Officially out Thursday

Rondo (ankle) has officially been ruled out of Thursday's matchup with the Jazz, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Rondo, who has been battling a sprained left ankle, will miss his second consecutive game. The veteran point guard was considered doubtful heading into the evening, thus rendering the decision to keep him sidelined unsurprising. Jerian Grant started in his place last game, and will get another spot start Thursday.
