Hawks' Dwight Howard: Questionable for Friday

Howard (quad) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets, KL Chouinard of NBA.com reports.

Analysis:

Howard was forced from Tuesday's game against the Heat with a left quad contusion and was subsequently held out of Wednesday's matchup with the Bucks as well. While he's had a few extra days off for recovery, he's still listed as questionable heading into Friday and we likely won't get a final call on his status until after the team's morning shootaround. Mike Muscala started for him Wednesday, posting 16 points and five rebounds, and would likely get the call again if Howard is ultimately held out.
