Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Records career-high five steals in win
Clarkson registered 13 points (4-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five steals, four rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 125-118 win over the Nets.
Analysis:
Clarkson is normally valued for the scoring he provides, but with D'Angelo Russell (season-high 32 points), Timofey Mozgov (20 points) and Julius Randle (17 points) stepping up in that department, the Lakers sixth man channeled most of his efforts on the defensive end. The five steals were a career high for Clarkson, who has been an asset in that category with 1.7 per game on the season.
