Wizards' John Wall: To return to action Wednesday

Wall will return to the starting lineup Wednesday against the 76ers, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

As expected, Wall will return to the court after sitting out Saturday's matchup with the Bulls for rest in what was the second half of a back-to-back set. The point guard, who underwent two offseason knee procedures, has been held out of one half of back-to-backs to date, but coach Scott Brooks said earlier in the week that Wall could be cleared to play both Wednesday against the 76ers and Thursday against Knicks. How much Wall is used Wednesday may ultimately dictate if or how much he plays Thursday.
