Wizards' Bradley Beal: Won't play Wednesday

Beal (hamstring) won't play Wednesday against the 76ers, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

Beal was questionable coming into the contest, but even after taking part in most of Tuesday's practice, the Wizards decided ti was best to give him more rest as the team opens a back-to-back set. It will be the third straight absence for Beal, who could be a candidate to return to the court Thursday against the Knicks. In the meantime, Sheldon McClellan figures to pick up another start at shooting guard, while Tomas Satoransky and Marcus Thornton are expected to notice bumps in playing time.
