Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Scores team-high 28 in Tuesday's loss

Lowry scored 28 points (11-23 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding nine assists, five rebounds and four steals in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 121-117 loss to the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

The Raptors point guard has had a rough start to the season offensively -- this was only the second time in 10 games that Lowry had scored 20 or more points -- but he's still averaging 8.2 assists, 6.7 boards, 2.7 treys and 1.8 steals over his last six games. DeMar DeRozan's red-hot run to begin the season has allowed the Raptors to get by without Lowry's usual production, but as the season wears on and DeRozan starts to cool off, Toronto will need Lowry to assume more of the scoring burden.
