Barnes scored 20 points (8-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and added four rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal in 35 minutes in a 93-77 loss to the Knicks on Monday.

Analysis:

For all the concern over Barnes' big deal, and his preseason struggles, Barnes is off to a good start to the season. He's averaging over 20 points a game and shooting well above his career field goal percentage. Now, he doesn't really do much besides scoring and a little rebounding, but so far Barnes has quieted the naysayers.
