Rockets' Corey Brewer: Returns to bench Monday

Brewer will move back into a bench role for Monday's game against the Sixers, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Brewer was originally expected to hold a spot in the starting five until Patrick Beverley (knee) returned from an injury, but coach Mike D'Antoni has opted to make a change before then and will instead use Eric Gordon with the top overall unit. Brewer will be relegated to a bench role and could see his role decrease even further once Beverley is back in the lineup.
